The International Media Production Zone (IMPZ) is a free zone situated in Dubai and it is dedicated to production companies. The IMPZ free zone is located near the Jumeriah Village South and the Government wants to transform it into an evolved copy of Dubai Media City. International Media Production Zone was launched in 2003 and provides numerous facilities for companies acting in the printing, publishing and packaging industries. Currently, the IMPZ free zone is hosting approximately 200 companies. Among the benefits foreign investors have when setting up a company in International Media and Production Zone are the housing facilities for employees.
What activities can IMPZ businesses do?
Even if limited to three industries, companies and freelancers operating in the International Media Production Zone may undertake the following activities:

– import and export,
– support services,
– digital and newspaper printing,
– commercial and industrial printing,
– online publishing and electronic content.

– free zone limited liability companies (FZ-LLC),
– branch offices.

– copies after their passports,
– a business plan,
– copies after the managers’ passports,
– an application form for the license.
